The admission process is monitored by the admission committee. After receiving the application a merit list is prepared and admission is made accordingly. Seats are reserved for SC/ST and handicapped students as per Vidyasagar University rule.
Application for admission is to be countersigned by the Guardian and supported by the following documents.
A student who has taken admission in new classes but does not attend any class for consecutive 15 days from the date of commencement of classes, may not be allowed to attend further classes, and his/her seat may be declared vacant.
Some seats are kept reserved for promising athletes who have taken part in tournament of various levels.
COLLEGIATE/ NON COLLEGIATE STUDENT
As per the regulation of the Vidyasagar Univarsity, students will have to attend a minimum of 75% of the lectures delivered in each subject to appear in the University examination as a Regular Collegiate students.
A student whose attendance falls short of 75% but is more than 60% will be treated as a Non –Collegiate student by paying non-collegiate fees. A student whose attendance falls below 60% will be treated as Discollegiate student and will not be allowed to appear in the University Examination.
